Michael Dorner, Managing Director
Mr. Dorner has been a director of Airdentify SE since April 2020 and managing director of the 100% subsidiary VariusSystems GmbH since its foundation in 2020. He was a founding member (50%) of VariusSystems GmbH in Vienna alongside Alexandra Dorner (25%) and Wolfgang Aschenbrenner (25%).
He holds a master's degree in business management (Diplom. Betriebswirt), has a technical education as an engineer in polymer technology and has been an entrepreneur since 2005. Mr Dorner has founded several successful companies, including the VariusCARD GmbHspecialised in the production of smart cards, from which the former software department VariusSystems was founded. Furthermore, he is the founder and owner of Dorner Immobilien & Investment Gmbh and vice president on the board of the ICMA.
In his role as Managing Director of VariusSystems and VariusCard GmbH, he played a leading role in the expansion of digitalisation measures and the orientation towards software development. As a director of Airdentify SE, his responsibility lies in the further growth of the company.
